About Amy
Amy is just about the most perfect human being Gavin has ever met; funny, bright as a button and easy on the eye! When she's not playing her DS she can usually be found providing a nice cushion to the two dogs or dozing in her pjs regardless of how early in the evening it is.
About Gavin
Gavin is shy until he gets to know you and then shows that he has a VERY dry sense of humour!
He is romantic, kind and genuine.
However, is still immature as likes his Batman and Doctor Who. Think that his ultimate dream would be to be the Doctor's assistant!!
How they met
Amy: We were both working at MCPS-PRS Alliance and I was just turning 21. Gavin had seen me before at a works party and decided that he liked me and wanted to get to know me. I was planning my 21st birthday drinks at work, but as I didn't know Gavin that well I didn't invite him. Needless to say he decided that he was coming and so gatecrashed the drinks! We spent the night talking about various things like Shakespeare and teenage mums!! Gavin walked me to Victoria train station as he wanted to make sure that I got home safely. And as they say the rest is history.
The proposal
Amy: Not the normal proposal or the grand dreamy idea of a proposal that I had but was lovely nonetheless!
We had decided to go for a nice country walk with the dogs in the local woods and Gavin decided to take charge of the route. However, it soon became apparent that we had absolutely no idea where we were and the evening was approaching.
Being a typical girl, I didn't want to be lost and had a bit of a temper tantrum! Once we had asked someone for directions (very unusual for Gavin!) we found our way back to safety and sat on the bench in the woods and Gavin told me that he loved me and proposed even though the ring was still on order.
